Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Al-Harasais received congratulations Friday at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army following the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him to the position.
A number of senior officers from the armed forces and security agencies, as well as civilian officials and community leaders, visited the General Command to offer their congratulations and best wishes on the Royal confidence placed in Al-Harasais and his appointment as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The reception of well-wishers continued for the second consecutive day, following the Royal Decree appointing Maj. Gen. Al-Harasais to the position effective September 2, 2026.
The General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army had announced that it would receive well-wishers on Thursday and Friday, September 3 and 4, 2026, at the General Command headquarters.
