Jordan on Thursday condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, describing them as a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability and territorial integrity, a dangerous escalation, and a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken by the country to protect its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The Kuwaiti military said Thursday that it had intercepted an attack involving missiles and drones launched by Iran.
The Kuwaiti Armed Forces said on X that its air defenses had confronted hostile missile and drone attacks amid what it described as the “sinful Iranian aggression.”
Iranian state television confirmed that Tehran had targeted U.S. military bases in Kuwait.
