The projects included agricultural road works in seven areas of Ajloun Governorate, including Anjara, Al-Junaid, Al-Safa, Al-Shafa, Kufranjah and Ain Janna. They also included the construction and paving of the Ain Janna (Al-Mahafir–Mahboub) road, along with a number of agricultural roads in other parts of the governorate.

The projects also covered road maintenance contracts, including necessary patching works at several locations, the installation of culverts for rainwater drainage, and the implementation of road safety measures, helping improve road efficiency and enhance safety levels.

The projects were funded through the budgets of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Ajloun Governorate Council, as part of joint efforts to address local needs and develop and improve infrastructure across the governorate.

The projects are part of the ministry’s ongoing plans to improve and upgrade the road network, enhance its efficiency and sustainability, address maintenance needs, and strengthen rainwater drainage and road safety systems.

The ministry said the implementation of agricultural road and maintenance projects would facilitate residents’ movement, improve farmers’ access to their land, strengthen connectivity between areas of the governorate, and support agricultural and development activities in Ajloun.
