The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, inaugurated on Tuesday the Zaid bin Thabet Secondary School for Boys in Ajloun Governorate, and was received by the Assistant for Administration and Manpower and the Director of Education and Military Culture.

During the visit, Major General Al-Hunaiti affirmed the interest of the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces in the education sector in schools of education and military culture, based on its belief in the importance of building an educated and conscious generation that possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to serve the country and contribute to its development process.
He pointed out that the Armed Forces will continue to support its affiliated schools to improve the level of educational services provided, provide a safe and stimulating school environment, in addition to developing educational facilities and equipment to meet the needs of students and keep pace with the requirements of the modern educational process.
For his part, the Director of Education and Military Culture confirmed that the school has been equipped with the latest digital technologies and advanced technological means, within the framework of the directorate's plan to develop and modernize the educational system, and enable students to possess the tools of innovation and scientific excellence.
He explained that the Directorate is keen to deliver quality and distinguished education to the people of remote areas and governorates, in a way that contributes to preparing generations capable of leading the process of construction and modernization in the country.
The Chairman of the Joint Staff toured the school's various facilities and departments, and was briefed on the level of educational equipment and services it provides, including classrooms, laboratories and service facilities, which are designed according to the latest approved standards to provide an advanced and safe learning environment, and enhance the quality of the educational process.
Zaid Bin Thabet Secondary School for Boys was built on a land of about 6 dunams, including 16 classrooms, in addition to computer and science labs, a library, and was also equipped with a solar energy system, as part of the trend towards raising energy efficiency and adopting sustainable solutions in educational facilities.
The school project was implemented through the Arab Contracting Company, a subsidiary of the Directorate of the Housing and Military Works Corporation, according to the latest approved engineering and technical specifications and standards.
The inauguration was attended by a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army, civilian officials and military retirees.
