Army Downs Drone in Eastern Desert After Breaching Jordanian Airspace

The official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that early Tuesday morning, as part of its monitoring and tracking system, the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted a drone that violated Jordanian airspace.اضافة اعلان

The spokesperson explained that the drone was shot down in the Eastern Desert within the Kingdom’s territory, in accordance with established rules of engagement.

He reaffirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to fulfill their duty in safeguarding the Kingdom’s borders, maintaining its security and sovereignty, and will not hesitate to deal decisively with any threat targeting the nation’s security and the safety of its citizens.
