An official military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army stated that the Royal Jordanian Air Force responded over the past 24 hours to four missiles and six Iranian drones targeting the Kingdom’s territory.

The source explained that air defense systems intercepted and shot down three missiles this morning, while the fourth missile landed in a remote, uninhabited area. Additionally, all six drones were intercepted and downed yesterday evening, with the source confirming that the operation resulted in no human casualties or material damage.
The source added that Royal Engineer Corps teams dispatched to the sites where the missile and debris landed, securing and handling the locations in accordance with established technical and security procedures.
Furthermore, the source reaffirmed that the Armed Forces continue to monitor the Kingdom’s airspace and maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to counter any threat targeting the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its citizens, in line with established rules of engagement.
The General Command urged citizens to refrain from approaching any crash sites or debris, report them immediately, rely solely on official sources for information, and avoid circulating rumors or unverified news.
