Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi said Friday that Jordan looks forward to active French participation in the Jordan-EU Investment Conference, scheduled to be held on November 19.
Safadi made the remarks during extensive talks in Paris with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, which focused on ways to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
Safadi and Barrot affirmed their shared commitment to strengthening Jordanian-French cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, education and defense, both bilaterally and within the framework of the strategic partnership with the European Union.
The Jordan-EU Investment Conference aims to strengthen investment and trade partnerships between Jordan and EU member states and showcase investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
