The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development said on Thursday that official correspondence with the relevant authorities confirmed that the Advanced Khartoum International School in Egypt, which claims to offer the American curriculum, is not accredited and has not obtained the required official approvals. The school has not been granted any official license to teach the American curriculum.اضافة اعلان

The ministry said it will not recognize or equate any high school diploma issued by the school.

The ministry also stressed that it will strictly enforce the requirements for recognizing non-Jordanian high school certificates. Under Article 10, Paragraph (A) of the applicable regulation governing the equivalency of general secondary education certificates, certificate holders must provide proof that they resided in the country of study with one or both parents, or with their legal guardian, or obtain a no-objection letter from the Jordanian embassy or consulate to enroll in education in that country.

Article 7, Paragraph 2, further requires the school issuing the certificate to hold the necessary license and to be accredited by its home country and the relevant educational authority in the country where the study takes place.

The ministry urged students and their families to comply with these requirements to avoid wasting time, effort and money without obtaining certificate equivalency due to violations of the applicable conditions.
