King reiterates Jordan’s rejection of Israeli attacks on Syrian territory
King Abdullah reaffirms Jordan’s support for Syria’s efforts to maintain its security and stability.

The meeting highlighted the strength of the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two countries and their peoples, as well as the need to build on these relations to expand cooperation in vital sectors, including energy, transport, trade and investment.
The talks also addressed the need to intensify efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and safeguard the security and sovereignty of Arab states, in addition to developments in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza.
The meeting also discussed several key issues, foremost among them the development of bilateral relations. Both sides stressed the need to move forward with the trilateral roadmap involving the Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United States to reach a national solution that preserves Syria’s territorial unity and serves the interests of the residents of Suwayda Governorate, Al-Shaibani said.
In a post following the meeting, the Syrian foreign minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to Jordan for its warm reception and hospitality, commending its efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
Al-Shaibani also conveyed President Ahmad Al-Sharaa’s greetings to King Abdullah II and his wishes for Jordan and its people to enjoy greater security, stability and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, and Royal Court Chief Eng. Alaa Al-Batayneh.
