Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan extended his condolences Thursday to the victims of a tragic traffic accident that occurred Wednesday in the city of Nuweiba in the Arab Republic of Egypt, resulting in deaths and injuries, including among Jordanian nationals.

Hassan directed the relevant authorities to take all necessary measures to transport the victims’ bodies to Jordan as soon as possible, expressing his sincere condolences and sympathies to their families.
He also instructed that the injured be transferred to Jordan for treatment as soon as possible, depending on their medical conditions, while coordinating with Egyptian authorities to ensure they receive the necessary medical care and attention until they recover.
Separately, Hassan sent a letter of condolence to Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly over the victims of the tragic accident, praying that God grant the deceased His mercy and the injured a speedy recovery.
