Supporting Underprivileged Families
Al-Issawi began his tour by inspecting the construction of 15 housing units for underprivileged families in the Berma area. This project is part of a Royal directive to build 1,300 housing units across various governorates and badia regions. Accompanied by the Governor of Jerash, Dr. Malik Al-Khuraisat, Al-Issawi noted that the project—utilizing pre-fabricated construction systems—has reached a 70% completion rate.

Educational and Community Infrastructure
In the Nahla area, Al-Issawi inspected the Nahla Basic School for Boys, established following His Majesty’s meetings with local citizens. Attended by the Minister of Education, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, the visit confirmed that the facility is nearing completion. The school features:

12 classrooms and specialized laboratories.

Administrative offices, a basketball court, and a nursery.

Public courtyards and playgrounds.

The tour also included a visit to Zain Park in Jerash city center, where Al-Issawi reviewed maintenance work and the installation of international-standard play areas. This falls under the "Safe Parks" initiative, which has installed over 250 play units across the Kingdom to date.

Economic Empowerment of Women
Al-Issawi concluded his visit at the Banners, Flags, and Vocational Clothing Workshop belonging to the Jerash Women’s Charitable Society. Equipped through Royal Initiatives, the project currently employs ten young women from underprivileged backgrounds.

Future Vision: The society aims to expand exports outside Jordan and increase its workforce to 50 women within the next two years.

Conclusion of the Visit
At the end of the tour, Al-Issawi reaffirmed that Royal Initiatives are ongoing across all governorates and sectors. He emphasized that these projects translate Royal directives into tangible realities that directly impact citizens' lives, implemented through a partnership between the government and civil society organizations.
