Release of 546 Administrative Detainees Ahead of Ramadan

The Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, has approved the completion of procedures by administrative governors for the release of 546 administrative detainees.اضافة اعلان

The decision comes on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and as part of the ministry’s efforts to enable those released to reintegrate into society, enhance their prospects for reform, resume their normal lives, and spend the holy month with their families. The decision followed a review of their files and the determination that their detention periods were sufficient.

The move reflects the ministry’s humanitarian approach to administrative detention, while maintaining legal and security safeguards to restrict criminal activity by dangerous individuals.
