Standards and Metrology Issues Advisory on Ramadan Decorative Light Strings

The Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization (JSMO) has urged citizens to exercise caution when purchasing decorative light strings for the holy month of Ramadan.اضافة اعلان

In a social media post, the organization advised consumers to ensure that the product includes a data label specifying the voltage, amperage, wattage (power rating), and country of origin. It also stressed that the power cord should be sufficiently long and not less than one and a half meters.

The organization further emphasized the importance of checking that there are no exposed wires.
