Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, in an official statement issued on Saturday, announced the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan. Working hours will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

According to the statement, these hours apply to all ministries, official departments, institutions, public authorities, public universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies, starting from the first day of Ramadan. After Ramadan, working hours will return to their regular schedule.
The statement exempted employees whose official duties require different hours, in which case working schedules will be determined administratively by their department heads.
The statement also emphasized that all institutions must respect the sanctity of the holy month and consider the feelings of fasting employees.
