Around 1.5 million students are returning to 4,081 public and military culture schools today, marking the start of the second semester of the current academic year, amid intensive preparations by the Ministry of Education to ensure the smooth running of the educational process.

Secretary-General of the Ministry, Sahar Al-Shakhatreh, stated that schools are fully equipped to receive students with textbooks and heating facilities to cope with the cold weather affecting most regions of the Kingdom.
The ministry continues to implement its decision to adjust school start times in line with the fixed daylight saving schedule: the morning assembly begins at 8:15 AM, followed by the first class at 8:30 AM. For the afternoon session, assembly starts at 12:50 PM, with classes commencing at 1:00 PM. This schedule will remain in effect until the start of Ramadan.
Ministry spokesperson Mahmoud Hiyasat noted that a new adjustment to class schedules will be made with the beginning of Ramadan. He reiterated that the current schedule, aligned with daylight saving time, will continue until the holy month begins.
