Firefighting teams from the Aqaba Civil Defense Directorate and the Aqaba Police extinguished a fire that broke out in two warehouses at a factory in the industrial complex in Aqaba Governorate, according to the Public Security Directorate.

The Public Security Directorate's spokesperson said the fire started in two warehouses, each covering approximately 500 square meters, containing fabric rolls and electrical cables.
Fire crews successfully brought the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby facilities, while police secured the area and restricted public access to allow emergency teams to carry out firefighting operations safely and efficiently.
One person suffered moderate smoke inhalation as a result of the fire. Paramedics provided first aid at the scene before transferring the injured individual to Prince Hashem Military Hospital, where the person's condition was reported as moderate.
The relevant authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
