The Chairman of the Ajloun Governorate Council Committee, Engineer Moawiah Annab, confirmed that the governorate possesses elevated sites providing exceptional night views. These locations have become major tourist attractions, contributing to the diversification of the tourism product and extending visitors' stays, particularly during the active summer tourism season.
The Director of the Ajloun Forest Biosphere Reserve, Oday Al-Qudah, explained that night views amidst the forests and highlands offer visitors a unique experience where nature blends with tranquility and clear weather. This makes the governorate a distinctive destination for ecotourism during the summer.
He pointed out that preserving the beauty of these sites requires raising environmental awareness among visitors, urging them to refrain from leaving litter or engaging in practices that impact the vegetation cover or wildlife, thereby ensuring the sustainability of these natural sites and enhancing their tourism value.
Nature photographer Mohammad Al-Fawwaz stated that Ajloun is considered one of the best Jordanian locations for night photography. Its highlands offer scenes that combine village lights, mountains, and the sky, giving photographers opportunities to produce images that reflect the governorate's beauty and natural diversity.
The owner of the Rasoun Tourist Camp, Zuhair Al-Shara'a, said that night views have become one of the most prominent features drawing visitors to tourist camps. Many prefer to spend their evenings outdoors, enjoying the natural scenery that blends mountains, valleys, and village lights.
He added that the growing demand for evening gatherings has positively impacted tourism activity, emphasizing that developing viewing spots and improving surrounding services will help increase visitor numbers and support various tourism establishments.
