Jordan Condemns Iran’s Attack on Qatari Tanker in the Strait of Hormuz

Jordan on Tuesday condemned Iran’s attack on a Qatari tanker as it transited the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates described the attack as a blatant violation of international law and a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation.

The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s rejection and condemnation of the attack, stressing the Kingdom’s full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support for all measures Qatar takes to safeguard its security, stability, and national resources.
