According to ESPN, sources confirmed that Real Madrid's management has no plans to increase the final offer it presented for Vinícius's contract renewal.
Vinícius is scheduled to return to the Valdebebas training ground on Monday to begin pre-season preparations following his post-World Cup vacation, amid lingering doubts surrounding his future as he enters the final year of his current contract.
The same sources noted that no date has been set for a meeting between Real Madrid officials and the Brazilian international's representatives, with the club holding the view that the decision now rests entirely with the player to either sign the new deal or seek a transfer elsewhere.
In the same context, a source close to the Brazilian player confirmed that no contact with Arsenal has taken place so far.
However, ESPN clarified that Arsenal is indeed interested in signing the Brazilian winger and is currently studying the feasibility and possibility of executing the transfer.
Negotiations between Real Madrid's board and Vinícius's agents have been at a prolonged standstill regarding a renewal agreement.
