Netherlands Bans Entry of Ben-Gvir and Smotrich Over Incitement to Ethnic Cleansing in Gaza
The Dutch government has announced a ban on entry to its territory for Israeli Ministers of National Security and Finance, Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, in light of the Israeli government's extremist policies.اضافة اعلان

According to the Dutch news agency BNO News, Dutch Foreign Minister Hanke Bruins Slot stated on Monday night that her government had declared the two ministers "personae non gratae," adding that their names have been entered into the Schengen system as "unwelcome foreign nationals."

She explained that the decision was made due to their repeated incitement of settler violence against Palestinians, their continuous support for the expansion of illegal settlements, and their calls for ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip as part of Israel’s genocidal war on the enclave.

Last Sunday, the Dutch National Security Agency listed Israel, for the first time, among the countries that pose a threat to the Netherlands.

This stance comes amid growing European action against Israel's ongoing violations, particularly with the Netherlands recommending the suspension of Israel’s participation in the Horizon Europe research program and the imposition of additional trade restrictions, should Israel be found in violation of its obligations in this regard, according to Dutch Prime Minister Dik Schoof.
