The Turkish Ministry of Defense stated that the attack on the Hamas delegation in Qatar revealed that Israel has adopted terrorism as a state policy and thrives on conflict.

This came during a press briefing delivered by the Ministry’s spokesperson, Zeki Ak Türk, on Thursday in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
Ak Türk noted that the attack on the Hamas negotiation delegation in Doha on Tuesday evening “revealed that Israel has adopted terrorism as a state policy, feeds on conflict, and opposes peace.”
The spokesperson affirmed, “Turkey stands firmly with Qatar with all its might against the Israeli attack, which constitutes a clear violation of its sovereignty.”
He added, “We remind the international community that unless Israel is restrained, it will drag the region into disaster with its reckless attacks like the one it carried out in Qatar.”
In response to journalists’ questions following the briefing, Ministry of Defense sources stated that “claims that Israel targeted Turkish forces’ positions in Syria are unfounded and do not reflect reality.”
