Two Palestinians were martyred and others injured on Thursday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a civilian vehicle in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that two Palestinians were martyred and others injured after an Israeli drone targeted a civilian car near the entrance to the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled areas west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. Israeli forces also opened heavy fire toward tents housing displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Artillery fire also targeted areas south of Khan Younis, north of the Bureij refugee camp and in Deir al-Balah.

Medical sources had previously reported that the death toll from Israel’s aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, had risen to 74,564 martyrs, with 175,770 people injured.

Since the Gaza ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, a total of 1,568 Palestinians have been martyred, while 5,649 have been injured. The bodies of 845 martyrs have also been recovered.

A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip took effect in October 2025. However, Israeli forces have continued to violate the agreement through further airstrikes, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire across various parts of the Strip.
