Iranian state television reported on Tuesday that no Iranian delegation has yet departed for Pakistan to participate in talks with the United States, as the deadline for the current truce between the two nations rapidly approaches.

"No Iranian delegation, whether primary or secondary, has left for Islamabad, Pakistan," the state broadcaster announced, explicitly denying earlier reports that suggested otherwise.
Quoting high-ranking Iranian officials, the report emphasized Tehran's stance: "We do not accept negotiating under threats or the violation of commitments," and "continued participation in negotiations depends on a change in American behavior and positions."
Diplomatic Uncertainty
While the United States has expressed confidence that the peace talks will proceed in Pakistan, and a senior Iranian official noted that Tehran is "considering" participation, significant obstacles and a state of ambiguity remain as the ceasefire nears its end.
U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly seeking a deal to prevent further spikes in oil prices and shocks to the stock markets. However, he remains steadfast in his insistence that Iran must not possess the means to develop a nuclear weapon.
