Executive Director of Roads at GAM, Eng. Sulaiman Al-Shammari, stated that the pedestrian bridge will be erected along the section of Al-Salam Street facing Al-Nashama Park. The initiative aligns with the municipality's plans to develop infrastructure, enhance public safety for road users, reduce traffic accidents, and secure safe crossing for pedestrians.

For his part, Director of the Construction Department, Eng. Hani Al-Marashdeh, explained that executing the installation requires a full closure of all lanes at the work site to ensure public safety and smooth operations. Consequently, temporary traffic diversions will be implemented for a single day, effective from 12:00 midnight tonight until 8:00 AM tomorrow morning, structured as follows:

For traffic coming from Airport Road heading toward the Dead Sea: Traffic will be diverted to the right from the Marj Al-Hamam Bridge toward Al-Bardeeni Roundabout.

For traffic coming from the Dead Sea: Traffic will be directed right toward Al-Quds Street.

The Greater Amman Municipality called on citizens and drivers to adhere to traffic instructions and directives issued by Traffic Department personnel and to obey warning signages installed at the site to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow.
