Spokesperson for the Ministry, Mohammad Al-Ziyoud, clarified that the period for legalizing and regularizing the status of undocumented non-Jordanian workers—approved by the Cabinet—began last June and will conclude at the end of next month.

He noted that the ministry's inspection teams have intensified inspection rounds across all governorates of the Kingdom to apprehend non-Jordanian workers in violation and proceed with their deportation.

Al-Ziyoud explained that any non-Jordanian worker in violation, including domestic workers, whose status is not regularized by their employer or homeowner in accordance with the law, will have a "deportation" flag placed on the ministry's electronic systems starting in early October.
