Two persons arrested for insulting religious sentiment — PSD

AMMAN — The Cybercrime Unit at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) has arrested two persons for insulting religious sentiment in the Fuheis area, the PSD media spokesman said on Wednesday.اضافة اعلان

The unit had tracked a video taken in the Fuheis area and then posted to social media in which two persons committed acts and made statements that insulted religious sentiment, according to local media outlets.

The unit was able to determine the identity of the two persons and they were arrested to be referred to the judiciary, the spokesman said. He stressed that the PSD will pursue firmly anyone who commits such practices, in accordance with the provisions of the law.
