PSD warns against spreading ‘false news’

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) called on citizens not to circulate ‘false’ news or misinformation, especially concerning the health condition of police officers injured in a shootout on Monday, according to Al-Ghad News.

The directorate confirmed that anyone who spreads rumors or false information will be prosecuted.
