The issuance of this license is the result of years of continuous efforts by the commission to establish a regulatory, legislative, and oversight framework that enables licensing and operation of this vital sector, ensuring compliance with civil aviation safety and security requirements.

Captain Mastou emphasized that the commission is steadily proceeding with issuing licenses for drone operators according to national legislation and international standards. He highlighted the readiness of qualified personnel to conduct licensing, monitoring, and inspections, noting that other companies are currently completing the licensing process.

The General Manager of Al-Anasir Television Production Company praised the commission’s regulatory role, noting that this step reflects the maturity of Jordanian legislation and the state’s commitment to supporting innovation and leadership. He added that the company aims to provide advanced services that enhance media, marketing, and support for the tourism, construction, and agriculture sectors.

Drone applications in Jordan span security monitoring, infrastructure inspection, agricultural crop monitoring and pesticide spraying, mapping and surveying, parcel delivery, building cleaning, as well as photography for artistic production, advertising, and tourism marketing.

The drone sector is considered a promising area for Jordan’s national economy, offering new investment and employment opportunities, supporting digital and technological innovation, reducing costs and time for project completion, and increasing efficiency in service delivery across various fields.
