In a press statement issued by its Media Center, the SSC clarified that the designated email address for reporting cyber incidents is
[email protected]
. It is solely dedicated to receiving reports of any suspicious or harmful electronic activity related to the SSC and its digital services. These include fake social media pages impersonating the corporation to deceive users and steal their data or money, as well as fraudulent links sent through messages, comments, or various applications that appear to be from the SSC but actually lead to fake websites designed to steal passwords or personal information.
The corporation added that reportable cyber incidents also include fraudulent websites mimicking the SSC’s official pages or portals with the intent of stealing user data or illicitly obtaining money. Other examples include phishing emails or private messages on social media claiming to be from the SSC and requesting sensitive information, in addition to digital identity impersonation involving unauthorized use of the corporation’s name or logo for deception or fraud.
The SSC emphasized that this initiative reflects its commitment to ensuring the highest levels of digital protection for its service recipients, as well as its readiness to promptly address any potential cyber threats in coordination with the National Cyber Security Center and relevant authorities.
The corporation urged all service recipients to actively use this reporting channel and to notify the SSC of any suspicious cyber activity, fake pages or links, or fraudulent attempts that may compromise their data or social security rights. It stressed that timely reporting serves as the first line of defense against digital threats and contributes to safeguarding the integrity of the corporation’s electronic systems.
The SSC concluded by noting that launching this email aligns with its 2024–2026 strategic objectives, which aim to enhance protection and sustainability, improve the quality of digital services, and strengthen mutual trust with its public.
The statement reaffirmed that ensuring the digital security of service recipients remains a top priority and that the corporation will continue to adopt global best practices in cybersecurity and sustainable digital transformation.
