Captain Haitham Misto, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC), announced a decision to implement a partial and temporary closure of Jordanian airspace to all arriving, departing, and transiting aircraft. This move comes in light of current regional developments and a risk assessment conducted in accordance with international standards.

Captain Misto explained that this measure will be applied on a daily basis, with the closure starting from 6:00 PM until 9:00 AM the following day. This decision becomes effective tonight and will remain in force until further notice, ensuring the safety and security of civil aviation in Jordanian skies.
The Commission urged all passengers to contact their respective airlines directly to confirm flight schedules and monitor any updates or modifications.
