The British Ambassador to Jordan, Philip Hall, announced significant updates to the UK visa application process, noting that these changes affect all applicants moving forward.

The Ambassador explained that while the application process remains online, a new step has been introduced: applicants must now create a UKVI account via the dedicated website once they receive their unique application reference number.
How the New System Works:
Share Code: Upon visa approval, travelers must log into their accounts to generate a "Share Code." This procedure is mandatory and must be performed every time an individual plans to travel to the United Kingdom.
Enhanced Security: Ambassador Hall emphasized that this digital system is designed to be more secure for both travelers and British authorities.
No Passport Stickers: In a major facilitation, traditional physical visa stickers (vignettes) will no longer be placed in passports.
Keep Your Passport: Consequently, Jordanian citizens will no longer need to leave their passports at the Visa Application Centre, making it easier to plan other trips while the application is being processed.
