The Kingdom will be affected on Wednesday by a cold and moist air mass, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures, with the impact of the weather depression and rainfall beginning in the afternoon hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected in the northern and central regions and will continue until the evening, while the Kingdom will remain under the influence of the cold, rainy air mass until noon on Thursday.
Chances of rainfall will increase in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, as well as limited areas of the east and southwest, accompanied by active westerly winds raising dust, which will lead to reduced horizontal visibility, especially in desert areas and on desert roads.
The Department warned of the possibility of flash floods forming in valleys and low-lying areas in the northern and central regions, reduced horizontal visibility due to dust and fog—particularly in desert areas and on external roads—as well as the risk posed by strong winds and accompanying gusts. It also cautioned against slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
The Meteorological Department urged citizens to exercise caution and to follow weather updates continuously.
