The Public Security Directorate called on citizens to adhere to necessary preventive guidelines and to follow proper safety behavior during the weather depression expected to affect the Kingdom starting tomorrow, Thursday.

It stressed the importance of staying away from the sides of valleys, flood channels, and low-lying areas, especially in the northern parts of the Kingdom and portions of the western central regions.
The Directorate also emphasized exercising caution while driving on roads experiencing rainfall, due to the risk of skidding, and the need to avoid water تجمعات and not to attempt crossing them on foot or by vehicle.
It urged citizens to follow safe practices when using heating devices of all kinds, including not refueling heaters while they are operating, not leaving them on while sleeping, and ensuring proper ventilation in homes.
The Directorate warned of the dangers posed by strong winds and accompanying gusts, as well as reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds touching the ground, particularly over mountainous areas and plains, and due to dust in desert regions.
It called on the public not to hesitate to contact the unified emergency number 911 if the need arises.
