The Greater Amman Municipality reported that it has addressed 96 incidents since the onset of the current weather system up to Sunday morning.
Dr. Nasser Al-Rahamneh, the municipality’s official spokesperson, stated that the incidents included 12 traffic accidents across various roads and the fall of five trees, which were promptly removed.

The municipality also handled two violations related to buildings under construction, five cases of soil erosion, five reports of leaning utility poles, and six incidents involving street lighting outages.
Additionally, 13 reports involved flooding of manholes, damage to underground cables and communication lines, affected infrastructure sections, and traffic signal outages. Structural issues were recorded in four buildings and four private walls at risk of collapsing, along with four reports of manhole covers being stolen. Moreover, 36 sewer manholes were found blocked.
