The Public Security Directorate has renewed its warnings to citizens amid the current weather system, urging them not to risk crossing areas with water accumulation or flood channels, whether by vehicle or on foot, due to the direct danger to public safety. Travel during heavy rainfall should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.

The directorate noted that Civil Defense teams have responded to multiple cases where people were trapped in vehicles due to rising floodwaters in several areas. All trapped individuals were rescued safely, with no injuries reported.
Authorities also emphasized the safe use of all types of heating devices, ensuring proper ventilation periodically, and never leaving heaters on while sleeping to prevent accidents such as suffocation or fires.
The Public Security Directorate reminded citizens to call the unified emergency number (911) anywhere in the kingdom if assistance is needed.
