Royal Jordanian Director General Samer Al Majali confirmed that there have been no changes to air traffic or flight schedules, saying flights and operations are continuing normally.
Speaking to Al Mamlaka amid regional developments linked to the Iranian strike, Al Majali said the airline is maintaining continuous coordination with relevant authorities, including the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, to monitor developments and take the necessary measures to ensure passenger safety and the continuity of air traffic.
He added that any changes to flight operations or schedules resulting from regional developments would be announced through official channels.
The assurances follow an announcement by the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army that the Kingdom had come under a missile attack originating from Iranian territory amid continuing regional escalation.
The Armed Forces said Jordanian air defense systems dealt with 13 ballistic missiles that entered the Kingdom’s airspace, successfully intercepting and destroying 10 of them, while three missiles fell in remote areas far from population centers.
The Armed Forces said the attack was handled in accordance with approved operational procedures and that no injuries or loss of life were reported. Specialized teams also began securing the sites where debris fell and taking the necessary measures to ensure citizens’ safety.
