Work has already begun on the section connecting the Berin and Al-Alouk areas. The project includes laying hot-mix asphalt over an area of 17,500 square meters, with an average width of 8 meters. Additionally, the road will be equipped with necessary pavement markings and reflectors, under the direct technical supervision of the Road Execution and Maintenance Department at the Zarqa Public Works Directorate.

Similar maintenance works are scheduled to follow sequentially, covering parts of the Al-Hashimiyah Main Road, the service road adjacent to Prince Mohammad Youth City, and sections of the Mafraq Highway (Jaber Road).

These projects are part of the Ministry's periodic plans to rehabilitate roads, ensure infrastructure sustainability, and provide safe transport for citizens by enhancing the efficiency of the governorate’s road network and boosting traffic safety standards. This comes as a continuation of the Ministry’s annual program to develop vital routes.

These projects are funded by the Zarqa Governorate Council (Decentralization) budget.
