Minister of Youth Raed Al-Adwan and Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman met on Sunday to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between their ministries in promoting environmental awareness, empowering youth, and supporting the role of youth centers in spreading environmental knowledge.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Youth headquarters, both ministers emphasized the importance of involving young people in implementing national initiatives aimed at reducing littering and minimizing the use of plastic bags. These efforts align with the vision of His Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, which focuses on investing in youth potential and engaging them in sustainable development.
The collaboration will include organizing training and awareness programs, volunteer and environmental activities within youth centers, as well as launching field campaigns led by youth to promote environmental citizenship and protect natural resources.
The ministers highlighted that these joint efforts will strengthen youth participation as an active force in addressing environmental challenges and will solidify their role in building a more sustainable future.
