The JHCO confirmed that the Eid clothing program is being executed on the ground in the Gaza Strip as part of an ongoing series of humanitarian and relief programs. These initiatives include distributing food parcels, hot meals, water, and shelter tents, alongside various other humanitarian interventions aimed at supporting affected families and strengthening their resilience.
In a issued statement, the Organization noted that field teams have started distributing the clothing across several areas within the Strip. The campaign is set to continue for a full week, aiming to bring joy to the hearts of children and support families facing extremely difficult living and humanitarian conditions.
The JHCO indicated that the distribution process took into account the privacy of the families to preserve their dignity. The organization highlighted that the program focuses on reaching children in displacement camps and the most impoverished gatherings, ensuring that humanitarian aid reaches those who need it directly and effectively.
The Secretary-General of the JHCO, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, stated that the ongoing implementation of humanitarian programs inside the Gaza Strip reflects Jordan’s unwavering commitment and support, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, toward their Palestinian brothers and sisters, standing by them through all humanitarian circumstances.
"Despite the harsh living conditions, the Eid clothing program seeks to give the children of Gaza a glimpse of Eid joy," Al-Shibli added. "The children there do not just need aid; they need to feel cared for, reassured, and given hope."
