His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met on Friday with French President Emmanuel Macron, on the sidelines of the informal meeting of the European Union and regional partners held in Nicosia.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the robust friendly relations between Jordan and France, emphasizing the importance of building upon them across various sectors, particularly in the economic field.
The discussion covered key regional developments, where His Royal Highness underscored the importance of stabilizing the ceasefire agreement to prevent a renewal of dangerous escalation.
The Crown Prince also pointed to the necessity of continued support for Lebanon’s efforts to maintain its security, stability, and sovereignty, and the sustained delivery of essential aid.
Furthermore, His Royal Highness stressed the need to intensify international efforts to halt Israeli measures aimed at annexing lands in the West Bank, as well as the violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and the Director of the Office of the Crown Prince, Zaid Baqain.
