During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of deepening relations between Jordan and Germany across various sectors, particularly in the fields of economy, technology, and education, while building on opportunities available under the strategic and comprehensive partnership between Jordan and the European Union.

The meeting also addressed the Jordan-European Investment Conference scheduled to be held at the end of this year, as well as the importance of enhancing cultural and tourism exchange between the two countries.

Discussions also covered the latest regional developments, with emphasis on the need to reach a comprehensive de-escalation that would restore stability and enhance security in the region.

His Royal Highness noted that regional developments must not divert the world’s attention from Gaza and the West Bank, stressing the need to intensify international efforts to confront illegal Israeli measures, halt land annexation efforts in the West Bank, and stop attempts to alter the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem.

He also reaffirmed Jordan’s continued support for its brothers in Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq in their efforts to preserve security and stability, in a way that promotes peace and stability across the region.

The meeting, which included a dinner banquet held in honor of the Crown Prince, was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office Dr. Zaid Baqain, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Germany Faiz Khouri.
