The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) announced that it intercepted an unidentified drone that entered Jordanian airspace on Wednesday morning. The drone was neutralized and shot down in the Balila area of the Jerash Governorate, in the northern part of the Kingdom. Eyewitnesses reported that the drone was spotted at 8:30 AM in the skies over the Jerash region. Residents were subsequently taken by surprise when it crashed near residential homes in the Balila area, causing damage to several properties.

The drone collided with a tree surrounding one of the houses, causing the tree to be severed.

Specialized teams have been deployed to assess and inspect the damage resulting from the drone crash, which primarily consisted of shattered windows in several homes.
