Army Thwarts Drug Smuggling Attempt via Electronically Controlled Balloons

The Eastern Military Zone on Wednesday at dawn thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics carried by electronically controlled balloons along its frontier.اضافة اعلان

Through advanced monitoring, Border Guard units were able to detect and engage the balloons, successfully bringing down the cargo within Jordanian territory. The operation was carried out in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND). The seized items have been referred to the competent authorities for necessary legal action.
