On the occasion of the Kingdom’s 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan inaugurated the Dead Sea "Corniche," which spans an area of approximately 600 dunams. The project is part of several promenade and entertainment initiatives designed to provide diverse options and alternatives for domestic tourism, serving citizens in the Dead Sea region in accordance with the highest specifications.اضافة اعلان
The Dead Sea "Corniche" features a 1.2-kilometer walkway, a dedicated bicycle lane, family seating areas, designated zones for sports and recreational activities, children's playgrounds, and an outdoor theater with a capacity of nearly 2,500 people for artistic and cultural events. It also includes green spaces, service facilities, and parking lots accommodating more than 1,200 cars.
The Prime Minister directed the completion of additional sports courts within the Dead Sea "Corniche"—alongside the existing ones already constructed—to be opened to the public during the summer season.
