The park also includes 11 sports courts occupying 10,000 square meters, including three football pitches, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, and four padel courts, as well as a dedicated running track and a cycling path.

The Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Greater Amman Municipality in completing the park to the highest specifications in a period not exceeding five months.

Dr. Yousef Al Shawarbeh, head of the Greater Amman Municipality Committee, said the park was named “Al Nashama” in recognition of the historic achievement of the Jordan national football team in qualifying for the FIFA World Cup finals.

He added that the adjacent eight-story building, which has been acquired, has been designated to house the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Environment, and the Jordan Tourism Board.
