The honor was awarded as King Abdullah attended the nighttime “Hashemite Lions” tactical exercise conducted by the 101st Special Battalion of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces, in which the Crown Prince participated. His Majesty presented the badge after His Royal Highness successfully fulfilled all required qualifications.

The exercise, supported by aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, was based on a scenario simulating a tactical operations center carrying out non-traditional military missions. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti was also present.

The drill included multiple operational scenarios, such as parachute insertion, reconnaissance missions, engaging urgent targets using reconnaissance and attack drones, combat search and rescue, and close air support through coordinated nighttime operations using night-vision devices, along with the deployment of full combat and logistical support elements.
