Jordan records 4 COVID deaths Wednesday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1028 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, in addition to 14 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,637 and the caseload to 816,574. اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 418 cases, while Zarqa recorded 77 cases.

Irbid registered 148 cases, while Balqa recorded 70 cases.

Karak recorded 41, Jerash recorded 45 cases, and Tafileh recorded 17.

Madaba registered 14 cases, Aqaba 41, and Ajloun 44.

Mafraq registered 58 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 69 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 68 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,248 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.84  percent of the 26,793 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
