Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met on Monday in New York with Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi and Hamza Al-Sarhan, founder and CEO of AI solutions company Ops Haven Technologies, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.
During his meeting with Khosrowshahi, the Crown Prince discussed areas of cooperation in the tourism services sector, coordination mechanisms with the Jordan Source initiative, and opportunities to expand Uber’s services in Jordan.
His meeting with Al-Sarhan focused on cooperation in the field of Jordanian intellectual property rights and opportunities to develop technology and artificial intelligence in Jordan through initiatives led by the National Council for Future Technology.
Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smirat attended the Crown Prince’s meeting with Uber’s CEO. Zaid Al-Baqaeen, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office, attended both meetings.
