The Anti-Narcotics Directorate has also handled seven other cases of drug trafficking and distribution in the capital, resulting in the arrest of 11 individuals in possession of large quantities of narcotics.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that, through their daily efforts to pursue all cases of drug trafficking, distribution, and smuggling, the Anti-Narcotics Directorate recently dealt with several high-profile cases, including two involving individuals connected to regional drug smuggling networks, in addition to seven other cases in the capital involving local traffickers and distributors.
Regarding the two cases linked to regional networks, the first occurred in Al-Ruwaished District. A special investigative team monitored a suspect involved with regional smuggling and, after verifying all information and confirming his possession of large quantities of narcotics and his concealment locations, raided his premises and arrested him. Authorities seized 120,000 narcotic pills, two firearms, and devices used to track locations and communicate with the regional networks.
In the second case in Madaba Governorate, authorities monitored two individuals connected to regional smuggling networks. After verifying the information, both were arrested, with 50 cannabis bundles and half a kilogram of cocaine confiscated.
The spokesperson added that, as part of ongoing efforts to combat all forms of drug trafficking and distribution, the Anti-Narcotics Directorate also handled six additional high-profile cases in the capital, in addition to one case in Aqaba.
In the capital, the first case involved raiding a drug dealer and confiscating 20 cannabis bundles, 1 kilogram of crystal meth, and some cocaine. In the second case, another dealer was arrested with 16 cannabis bundles and quantities of marijuana and crystal meth.
In the third case, a dealer was arrested with 12 cannabis bundles, while the remaining three cases led to the arrest of four distributors with 17 cannabis bundles in total. In the Aqaba case, authorities seized 10 cannabis bundles from a local dealer during a raid.
