The Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson, Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, conducted a series of phone calls with several media ministers and officials in brotherly Gulf Arab states. These discussions followed yesterday's statement by the Council of Arab Information Ministers regarding regional developments.

During the calls, Al-Momani emphasized the importance of coordinating Arab media efforts during this critical stage. He stressed the need to enhance professional and responsible media discourse to convey the truth to both Arab and international public opinion, counter misleading narratives, and strengthen Arab solidarity in the face of current challenges, while boosting national morale amid the security and military threats facing the region.
Al-Momani highlighted the necessity of building upon the Council of Arab Information Ministers' statement to reflect a unified Arab stance. He reiterated the political position that rejects and condemns Iranian aggressions against brotherly Arab states, describing them as unjustified attacks on peaceful nations that initiated no hostile acts. He further affirmed these nations' inherent right to legitimate self-defense and to safeguard their security, stability, sovereignty, and civilian facilities.
The discussions also underscored the importance of intensifying cooperation between Arab media institutions, exchanging expertise and information, and relying on reliable official sources to ensure accurate coverage and prevent the spread of rumors.
In the same context, these calls align with ongoing Jordanian efforts to bolster joint Arab coordination. This movement is consistent with the outcomes of His Majesty King Abdullah II's recent tour, which included the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain, where he emphasized the importance of unifying positions and enhancing joint Arab action to address regional challenges and serve the security and stability of the region.
